(3) corrections below:
1. Red Butterfly cutting directions should read as follows:
(1) 19-1/2″ x 11-1/2″ piece (front)
(1) 15-1/2″ x 16-1/2″ piece (back)
(2) 4″ x 10-1/2″ pieces (flap strip)
(1) 4″ x 10″ strip (short strap)
(1) 4″x 40″ strip (long strap)
(1) 4″ x 10″ piece (pocket)
2. step #2:
Fold the (2) 1” x 10-1/2” black paisley strips wrong sides together lengthwise and press. Matching raw edges, baste these strips to the unit from step 1. Sew 4” x 10-1/2” red butterfly pieces to both sides and press so the folded black paisley strips face toward the red strips.
3. step 7 is repeated twice (listed as step 7 and step 8). Step 8 should read:
Layer outer bag over wrong side of the 21” x 42” black floral stripe lining piece and baste. Stitch in the ditch along all piecing to stabilize and quilt the rest as desired. Trim excess lining and batting.
