Dual Image Appliqué

By Dilys Fronks

Have twice the fun with one fused pattern! Use the positive and negative images from appliqué motifs to create mirror image designs. This technique works for everyone—simple projects for beginners pack a dynamic punch, and more involved shapes for experienced quilters become complex visual designs. All ten projects include twists on the basic methods, and a gallery provides additional inspiration using this dual image fusible method.
