I have been quilting since 1991. I have taught at a variety of fabric shops as well as local county Parks and Recreation facilities. I have also designed and self-published several of my own quilt patterns, and from 2006 through February of 2013, was part of the design team Outside the Line Designs.
Now I have my own design company, Tamarinis. I enjoy working with virtually every fabric, however, I prefer batiks, bold prints, and chicken prints: “If it clucks, it goes in a quilt!” is my motto. Having a background in art and literature, I look for ways to use “words” in my work, be it in the fabric itself or by adding them to the piece.
I am a Georgia native and currently live in Marietta with my husband, children, two dogs, and my favorite fat cat.
