Patty Sue Nelson

My Mom taught me to sew at the age of 9, and I took my first quilting class the summer I turned 12.  I was commissioned to make models for a local fabric store for 8 years which gave me the opportunity to sew on a wide range of media including garment fabrics, decorator fabrics, quilting fabrics and upholstery fabrics to name a few.  Being a certified PFAFF technician and instructor, I teach embroidery clubs at The Quilting Hen along with various quilting classes.  Being single gives me the opportunity to focus and grow my career in this industry.

In my leisure time, I enjoy hiking, sewing, quilting, embroidering, art quilting, scrap booking, needle point, knitting, crocheting, cake decorating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
