My story starts the same as many; I cannot remember ever not sewing. My mother sewed and started me on primitive doll clothes as soon as I could hold a large needle with double thread. In high school I made garments for myself, my sister and my friends. Then I made clothes for my children, finally graduating into evening gowns and costumes.

In 2003 I stumbled into quilting and it was a great fit. Retiring from hairdressing in 2004 gave me time to pursue my new found hobby. It’s been a great adventure.

My style; I’m very eclectic; I see value in everything, my sewing room reflects this. The fabric talks, and all we have to do is listen.

I am a quilt designer; I have had over 90 featured patterns in major quilt magazines in the past 5 years.
