Very Aloe

by Grace Errea

Laguna Niguel, California
USA

Techniques:
Pieced and machine appliqued

Artist Statement:

Anywhere you go in California, whether on the coast or in the desert, you will see this beautiful plant growing. You will see it in the wild or cultivated in gardens and in pots. And it is a medicinal plant always welcome in the kitchen where I burn myself cooking. I would like to pay tribute to this beautiful, hard working and very, very aloe vera plant.”
