Design Source:

The challenge to come up with something “good for you” for every letter of the alphabet

Artist Statement:

“I wondered if I could come up with something good for every letter of the alphabet. The letter x was the hardest to come up with. I chose xylem, which is the tissue in plants that carry the water and nutrients up from the roots. I also wanted to try trapunto, a technique I had never done before. It was a challenge to create this quilt, but a challenge can also be good for you!
