Remembrance

by Dawn Gerber of Hanover, Pennsylvania

Artist Statement:

This quilt is a visual record of my family’s genealogy. Ten generations of names appear throughout the quilt and border. The center block was designed from a house that stayed in the family for three generations. Quotes from an 18th century will and a family tree are some of the details.”

Winner: Honorable Mention in Traditional Appliqué
