The International Quilt Association’s (IQA) annual fall judged show, Quilts: A World of Beauty, premieres at International Quilt Festival/Houston each year and is one of the quilting world’s most prestigious competitions.

Artist Statement:

This miniature was inspired by a bed-size antique quilt. From a photograph of the antique quilt, I drafted my own miniature pattern. The floating LeMoyne Stars measure only 1¼” across. Needle-turn appliqué was used for the moons.”
