I’ve been addicted to quilting for over 10 years, and still feel guilty buying fabric. At every trip to International Quilt Market I’m always seeing new ways to improve my craft and share my new thoughts and ideas with quilt stores from all over the world. I’ve been a published several times in magazines and at this time I’ve won 2 Best in Shows.

As a child, Tanya lived in many midwestern states and was able to admire the handiwork of the pioneer women that had first settled those areas.  Now, from the comfort of her own home, she is able to browse the Internet and be inspired by the many women and men who take the time to share their knowledge and craft with others.  She is now contributing back to the quilting community as a member of the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild and through her blog www.squaresandtriangles.com.   While she has a background in Biology, and has worked in labs and been an educator, she is currently the full time mom to four wonderful children, the wife of a supportive husband, a runner, a fabric collector, and a quilter.

Growing up in sunny California I developed a love for nature and being in the great outdoors.  Moving to Washington state and living on a wheat farm expanded that joy and showed me the beauty of life in the country.  I learned to quilt as a social outlet when my children were small, but always loved the color and design aspect the most. Most of my designs stem from nature and the beauty I see around me. Working in a quilt shop and teaching classes  has furthered my love for both quilting and the friendships I’ve made because of it. Elizabeth Dackson is a self-proclaimed fabric addict and quilter. Elizabeth began quilting on a whim after her son was born, after pacing around Jo-Ann’s in search of a hobby. Now, she designs quilt patterns found both on her blog, Don’t Call Me Betsy, as well as in various quilting publications, including Quiltmaker, International Quilt Festival: Quilt Scene, Modern Quilts Unlimited, Quilts from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, Sew Mama Sew, Fat Quarterly, and more. She is also an active member of the Tampa Modern Quilt Guild. Elizabeth lives in Florida with her husband, son, and neurotic beagle.

I live in Leeds, UK with my hubby, cute little boy and an obscene quantity of fabric. I’ve been sewing all my life. I embraced the quilting world when I moved to America in 2002. Before that, it made no sense to me to cut up a perfectly good piece of fabric and put it back together FLAT. I come from a garment background. I had my own label and little boutique in Australia where I made one-of-a-kind-wedding gowns. I love all things sewing and quilting. I have been quilting and also buying and selling antique quilts since 1970. My passion is antique fabric. In the early days of collecting I would repair antique quilts, so I had to use antique fabric. So through the years I have become very good at dating fabric. I have been designing reproduction quilting fabric for the last 11 years.

I have been sewing most of my life but, I wanted to learn to quilt. So one day in the year 2000 I spent a day with my mom and she showed me a “9-Patch”. I was off and running. Fighting depression quilting became my safe zone.  I have been blessed to design for Hoffman, Windham, P&B, Northcott, Timeless Treasures, and Quilting Treasures. As a designer and teacher it is hard work, but every day I thank God that I am a quilter.

Erin is a classically-trained interior designer whose attention span was too short to be confined to one industry.  She now splits her time between designing residential and small commercial interiors, creating modern sewing patterns, original papercrafts, and chasing whatever shiny new project may catch her fancy. I am a wife of 20 years to my best friend and mom to 3 teenagers, 2 dogs and a kitten. I love reading, gardening, and photography when I’m not quilting. I am most inspired by antique quilts but my very favorites are scrappy with a creative twist. I started my own pattern company this year and have designed a tiny tumbler template that seems to have endless possibilities.
