Internationally revered textile artist Kaffe Fassett is to exhibit his quilts for the first time in Wales at the Welsh Quilt Centre in Lampeter.  His vivid bold patchworks will hang alongside beautifully stitched antique Welsh quilts from the Jen Jones collection.  This will present a stunning contrast of modern and traditional quilts in an historic setting in the heart of Wales.

Their very talented teacher, Jenny Loss, is constructing a very special item which will be the first prize in our raffle (tickets at the door).
On Thursday evening we are holding an Opening Night drinks party with a guest speaker (TBA). Starting at 7pm you will need to buy a ticket ($5) for this very special opening event.
Place: St Peter’s church hall at 28 Josephson Street, Swansea
Date: Friday August 2nd to Sunday August 4th 2013
Time: 10 am to 4 pm (Sunday finishes at 2pm)
Cost: Gold coin donation
A variety of crafts, including handcrafts, jewellery, woodwork, cottage crafts, toys and Christmas items will be available for sale. Come and buy unique gifts and see the many different items made by local
crafts people. After browsing our wonderful display why not relax and enjoy a delicious Devonshire tea.
